The Middle Column

Every situation maps to
a competency that is
learnable.

The middle column is the most important one on this page. It is the answer to the question "so what do we actually do about it?"

Each competency in the middle is drawn from an established framework with its own research base CASEL, Emotional Intelligence theory, MBSR, Narrative Therapy, or Nonviolent Communication. Mind doesn't invent these. We adapt and deliver them.

The line thickness between a situation and a competency reflects how central that competency is to addressing that situation not how much time is spent on it in a session. A thick line means the programme was specifically designed with this as its primary goal.
